A dedication ritual is a rite between an individual witch and their gods (or lack there of, as it can also between them and an entity or to themselves and their practice alone). It is a way to commit yourself to the craft. Many people dedicate themselves to witchcraft, including those who choose to do so before becoming an initiate in a coven or tradition.
